Brothers Water, looking beyond to Kirkstone Pass. Near the southern edge of the lake a small parking pullover leads to a tiny beach. The water is so shallow that lily pads grow in abundance. |
The northern end of Brothers Water is ringed with these lovely trees. The views are superb (of course, that goes without saying in this area!) |
Buttermere, one of the most (deservedly) popular areas of the central Lake District. The scenery is simply stunning, and there are wonderful walks to be had along the lakew or up into the hills on either side of Buttermere. |
