Chef-proprieter Chris Blaydes (Master Chef of Great Britain) and his wife Jo have re-sited the renowned local restaurant Jerichos into the Waverley, to become a Restaurant with Rooms.
Set in a beautiful, detached stone building circa 1870, situated on a quiet road in Windermere village with large private car park .
The building retains many original features and is bursting with character.
Jerichos now has a marvellous comtemporary dining room creating a wonderful match of Victorain and modern styles within this beautiful building.Jerichos has been awarded 2AA rosettes in the AAs Restaurant Guide, and continues to be highly rated in The Good Food Guide, Hardens and Michelin.
We have an extensive wine list and are passionate about our food and wine, a passion we hope to share with you.All our scrupulously clean bedrooms are ensuite, have colour television, tea and coffe making facilities.
Some bedrooms can be twinned and contain either a standard double or a Kingsize bed, furnished with clean crisp white linen.
Breakfast is served in the comtemporary restaurant and is, of course, cooked to order by Chris.

Directions
The Waverley Hotel Windermere is situated in the heart of the Lake District and is easily reached from the M6 motorway. From Exit 36 follow the signs for Kendal/Windermere (A591). On approaching Windermere take the second left (Elleray Road) and then first right into College Road. We are 200 yards on the right. from the Rail and Bus Station which is three minutes walk from the Waverley. As you exit the station turn left onto High Street and follow the right fork. Cross straight over the next intersection into College Road. We are 200 yards on the right.
