There is a weekly market which can also be found in Portland and Dorchester.
In addition, Weymouth offers a Christmas market weekly throughout December.
Weymouth offerse excellent facilities for golf, sea and coarse fishing, watersports, motorsports, canoeing, diving, shooting, horse riding and quad-biking.
The town boasts a football team in the Blue Square conference and a rugby team.
For a pleasant day out why not try a walk in Lodmoor Country Park or a visit to Abbotsbury Swannery or sub-tropical gardens.
