Whalton is a leafy village situated six miles from Morpeth. Nearby Bolam Lake has a lakeside walk accessible to wheelchairs and pushchairs. Visitors can feed the swans or go fishing or canoeing while enjoying the dramatic views and fresh air.
Inside, the Beresford Arms has wooden beamed ceilings and a homely feel. Outside the ivy covered building, there is a seating area and plenty of parking available.
All prices include a continental breakfast. A full English breakfast is available for an additional £5 per person (payable locally).
