Accommodation

Almara - A mixture of self-catering and B&B accommodation available in the north Mainland. Site contains a good range of photographs of the area.

Breiview Guest House - Situated on the main bus route and twenty minutes walk from the centre of Lerwick, Breiview Guest House is in a quiet area overlooking Berwick Bay. There is a sandy beach nearby and Clickimin Broch is a few minutes walk away.

Buness Country House - Buness is a 16th Century listed family house by the sea on the northernmost island of Unst. This 4 Star hosted home offers four comfortable bedrooms.

Burrastow House - Hotel and restaurant in Wells, on the west coastline. Awarded four stars by the Scottish Tourist Board for accommodation.

Busta House Hotel - Comfortable hotel, parts of which date back to the 16th century. Based in Brae on the North Mainland, with views over Busta Voe. Some rooms have four-poster beds.

Easterhoull Chalets - Holiday accommodation just outside the fishing village of Scalloway. Eleven chalets with two or three bedrooms in each. STB 4 Crown Commended.

Sumburgh Hotel - Situated close to the airport, this hotel is well situated for access to Jarlshof (Viking settlement) and Sumburgh Head (a large puffin colony). The hotel was originally home to the Laird of Sumburgh, and offers 32 rooms of all sizes.
