Pleasant stay
A nice apartment with stunning views of Scarborough from the end of the street (turn right) then a lovely stroll into town and along the sea front.. 10-15 minutes. There is a lovely walk if you turn right at the end of the street along the Esplanade (opposite way from town) which will take you to the Clock Tower, Rose Gardens and more beautiful views of the Bay along Viking Way..Lots of shops at the end of street (turn left) pizza place , Chinese, small Sainsburys, coffee shop and a bakery to name a few. Easy check in. Place nice and clean. Tea, coffee and sugar available. Good shower with great water pressure! Great to have place to park and parking scratch card provided for up to 4 days. Log burner is a bonus. A few niggles...beds are pretty hard but ok if you like a very firm mattress. They would benefit from mattress toppers! It's mentioned several times in the flats guest book so others obviously have had issue too. No toilet roll provided. Expectation of taking out rubbish to back bins and removing all bedding ourselves which is fine but don't feel it should be demanding of people on a break. All in all a pleasant stay in Scarborough.

Top Drawer
This is our second stay at Apartment 1 and again it was just as we remembered it. Beautifully clean, furnished to a very high standard and a stones throw from the beach and the Viking Way. It is the little things that count with places like this including tea coffee and milk being provided, dog treats and even dog bowls if you forget to bring your own for your pooch. We wanted a few days away for a relaxing chilled break with some sea air and plenty of walking - we got everything here and it is a great place to unwind at the end of the day with ample books, DVD's and games (all of which are inside the footstool if you can't find them!) If you have forgotten something on your trip don't despair as there will bound to be that forgotten item within a drawer in the kitchen. Thanks again, another fantastic stay

An amazing flat immaculate and clean everything you need is in the flat and more. Ideally located to explore Scarborough.... definitely recommend it...

A stay with wow factor
The apartment was immaculate upon our arrival and had a small welcome basket which was a nice touch. Situated close to the beach there are some fantastic walks if like us you are a dog owner. Plenty of facilities within walking distance which include pubs, bars and convenience stores (and probably the most expensive chippy in Scarbs! - but I?m a bit tight after all) Beautifully furnished throughout and a host of DVD's, books and games to play to while away those Winter evenings by the fire (which we didn?t actually use as the central heating was sufficient) Would be happy to return for another break at such competitive prices. Comfy, clean and well located
Home from home. Everything you need for a fantastic getaway. We love Scarborough and this dog friendly apartment has added to our experience of our annual visit to our favourite seaside resort. The kids love it as its close to the beach and rock pools.. We can't wait to come back
