Amazing views and beautiful little cottage.
Had a wonderful time on our second stay at Glan Dwr Bach. Such stunning views and really comfy beds! We were greeted with a lovely bottle of wine and some biscuits which was also great! Had some issues with the wifi which the owner did his upmost to fix for us which we really appreciated. We've already booked our next trip!

Millionaire?s view of an iconic British vista - Snowdonia!
November is not the best month to visit Anglesey, unless you like deserted roads, no tourists, lots of locals enjoying themselves, a pale sun shining through trees, and snow on the mountains opposite. We found it perfect!
Glan Dwr Bach is within easy reach of Menai Bridge and near Beaumaris, on a road which is not too busy. The double glazing was efficient at keeping any rush-hour sound low. At night it was quiet. The heating system and the windows provided warmth when we needed it and ventilation when the sun came out.
Very stylish and simple, good quality, modern furniture, comfortable beds and attractive, functional and ?designer? curtain fabrics, provided a flexible environment for our stay. All equipment was in functioning order too.
The layout of Glan Dwr Bach was great: two bedrooms at each end of the cottage (one requires 3 steps to access) with their own bath or shower rooms kept disturbance to a minimum at night and the sitting area and kitchen/diner between was much more spacious than it looks in the photographs.
HOWEVER, the real wow-factor, as mentioned, is the view. You have to see it to believe it!
Bring a hairdryer, if you have hair...Food is no problem with Waitrose just down the road and several hotels, restaurants and pubs nearby.
Travelling round the island we had an especially good afternoon tea, although other things are available, at Blas Mwy Black Lion in Llanfaethlu, in the west, and at Cemaes at Ye Olde Vigour, we had a warm and hilarious time with the kind owner in a real old-fashioned pub - a rare and unusual find.
