Higher Huxley Hall offers five star, silver award winning accommodation in a beautiful building that dates back to the 13th century. It is situated in a green valley, with fantastic views of the Cheshire Hills, Beeston Castle and the Welsh mountains. Ideally located, we are just 7 miles from the ancient city of Chester, 16 from Wrexham, and 25 and 38 miles from Liverpool and Manchester respectively. Local interests include the Roman walled city of Chester and its race course, Beeston Castle, Tatton Park, Oulton Park motor racing circuit, Ness Gardens, Chester Zoo, Chomondeley Castle, Cheshire Oaks, Lever and Walker Art Galleries. The North Wales castles are within easy reach by car. Perfect for walkers, cyclists or fishing fans, you can enjoy a walk by the canal to Chester or The Sandstone Trail, join the Cheshire Cycle Way at the bottom of the our driveway or take in some coarse fishing nearby. Shooting can also be arranged. On your return, relax sitting in the garden. You can enjoy our fresh, locally sourced home cooked Aga breakfasts in our dining room overlooking the garden and fields.
