Accommodation Description:
Offering an ideal setting for a relaxing break in the Lake District, this beautiful country house hotel is located on the lower slopes of Skiddaw.

Being situated in the northern Lake District near Keswick, Lyzzick Hall Hotel is an ideal base for any walking or sightseeing holiday.

It features well-equipped rooms, comfortable lounges, an excellent restaurant and a heated indoor swimming pool with a sauna and whirlpool spa bath.

The hotel is set in extensive private grounds which should ensure that your stay is both peaceful and relaxing.

The hotel is situated on the site of an old farmhouse dating back hundreds of years. It takes its name from the ancient woodland area behind the building, which was known as Lyzzick Wood. It is thought that this stems from medieval times and the name means light oak. For the last 35 years Lyzzick has been a hotel and the essence of its history has not been lost. This is a building of great character, which has been sympathetically adapted to the needs of the 21st century.
