Batsford is the largest private arboretum in the UK. In the grounds surrounding an elegant stately home (not open to the public) is a huge collection of trees and shrubs. Also within Batsford Park is a popular falconry centre (separate admission).
Editor's Note: We have visited Batsford on several occasions and had a wonderful time. The setting is magnificent and the variety of trees and shrubs is stunning.
