This cosy and traditional cottage is located in the heart of the harbour village of Charlestown. Charlestown was built between 1790 and 1810 to help build up the industry of exporting copper and clay so it is rich in industrial history. The famous tall ships can be seen here while the village has also appeared in several films and TV programmes.
St Austell the largest town in Cornwall is just a few miles away with a larger selection of shops restaurants and cafes. The cottage is also the perfect base for exploring Cornwall with attractions such as the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan just a short drive away. This property retains many of its original features which include exposed beams and wooden floors.
On the ground floor is the lounge kitchen and dining area which is all open plan opening up the space on this level. The cosy lounge area features a Smart TV with Netflix and Catch Up and a wood burner effect electric fire while the kitchen features a single oven with integrated dishwasher fridge with freezer box and a washer/dryer. Up on the first floor accessed by a steep open-tread staircase is the double bedroom with further character added by the sloping ceiling.
The bedroom also has an en-suite shower room with a WC. Bed linen towels Wi-Fi electric and electric heating are all included with this property as well as a welcome pack to help you settle in.
