The apartment has a king-size double bedroom, a bathroom, a kitchen with dining area, a sitting room and use of an external, ground floor games room with a snooker table and a woodburning stove. Outside there is off road parking for one car in the courtyard, bike storage, horse stabling available at additional cost, by prior arrangement with the owner, shared use of the tennis court by arrangement and shared use of 1000 acres of grounds, farmland and barbecue areas.

The location was ideal and to be able to stay in an historic property was an opportunity not to be missed. Despite being only minutes away from a modern town centre the house and grounds were peaceful and private. It was an oasis of calm.

The property has many original features and was furnished in keeping with the stately home. So many places to visit were very easily accessible by road from Butler's Flat.

A great location for our stay, with lots of places to visit and stunning scenery on site. The house itself is amazing, you actually feel you have travelled back in time. Will return again soon.

Butler's Flat was very peaceful and in a good location with amenities very close by. The apartment layout was good, and the log fire was amazing, making for a very romantic evening watching a movie -
It's a place with a lot of charm, perfect escape for a romantic break.
