I wouldn't consider staying here again.
The first thing noticeable on arrival was the smell of damp in the kitchen. It was so bad that all crockery and cutlery had to washed before use and kept out of the cupboards. The food I put in a cupboard tasted of damp and the plastic picnic boxes also began to smell. I actually wretched when opening a cupboard. The damp pervaded the whole property. Towels never dried - and they were only thin. The web site states that there is a zip and link bed but that is not the case. Two single beds were pushed together but the sheet only just covered the beds and certainly couldn't be tucked in. The quilt didn't cover the bed let alone two people in it but to be fair when we informed the owner she brought a bigger quilt. The sofas were comfortable but I did have to clean spilt food off the back of one. There were sticky patches on the carpet. Had this cottage cost half the price it did I could have overlooked some of this but the damp smell and price mean I would not recommend it anyone.

Swifts was a nice, pleasant place to spend a weekend. Main attraction was the garden which was completely secluded and not overlooked by anyone. Also like the nature trail and the access to coastal pathways behind the cottage.
