1, River Cottage is a smart attached cottage on three levels with lovely, long, elevated views up and down river, in the centre of Calstock. Sleeping five in three bedrooms - two double one with an en suite shower-room and balcony and a single with door to terrace. Family bathroom.
Cosy living room with wood-burning stove and kitchen/dining room. Utility room and WC. At the side is an enclosed courtyard with BBQ and at the front, a sunny little paved area with a bench looking over the green to the river.
Lovely walks from the village with footpath to Cotehele House (National Trust), 1 mile. Fun canoeing expeditions. Once a thriving mining valley, now a World Heritage Site dominated by birdsong.
Note: One well-behaved dog welcome.
