St George's Church in Hatford is a tiny 12th-century church with a nicely carved Norman doorway and several Norman features inside the church. The doorway features a worn depiction of a Green Man.

The Norman church at Iffley, on the outskirts of Oxford, is among the finest examples of 12th-century Norman architecture in England. There are superb carvings both inside and outside the church and the site of a 13th-century anchoress's cell near the chancel. The south doorway is particularly fine, with carvings of Green Men, grotesque beasts, knights, faces, and mythical creatures. The interior has three finely carved arches and 15th-century stained glass depicting the De la Pole arms.
