Kilpeck Church photo, Kilpeck Castle

The little Herefordshire hamlet of Kilpeck is famous for its Norman church, with its glorious profusion of carvings. But just a short stroll behind the church are extensive earthworks of a castle which may date to Saxon times. Atop a low motte are scanty ruins of a medieval stone keep.
