Looking up the quire towards the Trinity Chapel and the east end. The difference between the architecture of the nave and the earlier quire is extraordinary. I admit that when I first glimpsed the quire my jaw dropped; the effect on entering through the pulpitum and emerging into the quire is quite amazing.
