Dylan Thomas Boat House
At the village of Laugharne, off the A4066
A footpath with a steep staircase leads down to the small home where Thomas, the famous Welsh poet, lived. Some of the rooms are still the way he left them. There are a few original writings and a small bookshop. A tiny tearoom provides snacks.
Newton House

Set in a large park, Newton House was built in 1660 and altered in

Paxton's Tower
Off B4310, access across a steep field
Erected around 1806 in honour of Lord Nelson, this 36-foot high crenellated tower contains a banqueting room. The tower stands on the Middleton Estate, which also hosts the National Botanic Garden of Wales.
