Set in a peaceful location this property which adjoins the owners farmhouse is located perfectly for exploring the whole of Devon. Enjoy pleasant walks from the front door such as the short stroll to the pretty unspoilt cove at Peppercombe or along the South West Coast Path. The bucket and spade beaches of Westward Ho! and Instow are a short car ride away and are also popular surfing spots.
Treat the children to a day at The Big Sheep The Milky Way or Watermouth Castle all of which are within easy driving distance. If you re heading out for a bite to eat or a drink the local pub is just a five-minute walk from the property. This spacious and comfortable accommodation is perfect for families.
As you enter the property the ground floor with present you with a large lounge/diner offering plenty of seating for the whole family to spread out and relax. The room includes an antique pine dresser original shutters TV/DVD and wood burner effect electric fire while the dining room area offers a space to enjoy a family meal around the table. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need for a comfortable home away from home including an electric oven microwave washing machine fridge/freezer dishwasher and a pine table with chairs.
There is also a WC on the ground floor. The first floor is accessed via a stripped pine staircase from a large hallway with a quarry-tiled floor. There are four bedrooms in total all of which feature their own sinks.
There is a single room and a double with a shower cubicle. A further double offers a TV and shower cubicle and provides access to the fourth room with a double bed and bunk beds. There is a separate bathroom on this floor with a bath and WC.
The outside of this property is a real bonus for families. An attractive walled garden offers picnic tables seats and sole use of the play are and 12 trampoline basketball post swings/slide a fireman s pole and a small bucket swing for toddlers. There is also a gas BBQ for dining alfresco on sunny summer evenings.
That s not all; there is also your own private hot tub available to relax in glass of wine in hand. Visitors are also welcome to explore the farm and observe activities such as milking and harvesting carried out by the friendly owners. If you wish to bring your own horses there is stabling and grazing available which can be arranged with the owner.
There is ample parking available.
