With so much to see and do near this beautiful family retreat on the north coast of Devon you ll be grateful for a comfortable home to crash out in after a day of exploring. If you re a family or group of friends who love the beach Westward Ho! Widemouth and Bude are all just a short drive away and the pretty cliff side village of Clovelly with its steep cobbled streets and traditional harbour is also just three miles north of the property. Appledore a seaside village which has a wide range of galleries cafes and shops to explore is close by and is well worth a day trip if you fancy some time away from the beach.
For children The Milky Way and The Big Sheep are both on your doorstep and offer excellent facilities whatever the weather. This stylish home away from home has many character features with exposed stonework beams and split levels on the ground floor. There are three bedrooms suitable to sleeping up to six guests with one king-size on the ground floor which is accessed via one step up and has TV/DVD a built-in wardrobe and an en-suite shower room with WC.
Also on this floor is one twin bedroom accessed via two steps down with a fitted wardrobe TV/DVD and en-suite shower room with WC. Upstairs is a further twin bedroom with a low level doorway exposed A-frame beams TV and a door leading out on to a small decked balcony and steps leading down to the rear garden. The main bathroom which is situated on the ground floor has a shower over bath and WC.
The property has a large open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a woodburner (first basket of logs provided) TV hi-fi and comfortable sofas. If you choose to stay in and cook rather than go out the kitchen has everything you will need to cook up a storm for your friends and family with all integral appliances an electric oven and hob fridge freezer washer/dryer dishwasher microwave and many useful extras. French doors lead guests outside where they can enjoy a sunny patio area and garden with garden furniture and a gas BBQ.
Guests are also encouraged to visit the animals and see the day-to-day activities of working farm and to wander across the fields. There is also a swing slide and football goal perfect for children. Ample parking available.
