Located on a 300-acre cattle and sheep farm this detached granite barn is the ideal country getaway. Walk the farm trail and enjoy the stunning views from every direction or visit the country pub which is only ten minutes away. Take a ten-minute drive to Dartmoor National Park to see the rugged landscapes traditional villages remote tors and flowing rivers.
The historic town of Tavistock is two miles away from the farm and visitors can spend a day exploring the pannier market shops cafés cinema and restaurants. Further afield the Eden Project is an hour s drive away and is a great day out. There are also several National Trust properties nearby including Cotehele House Buckland Abbey and Lydford Gorge.
Retaining plenty of original features this former barn has been lovingly decorated and furnished to create a hugely comfortable home from home. When entering the exposed stone-wall barn there is an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a feature granite fireplace and wood-burner (first basket of logs provided) to keep guests warm. The exposed stone-walls keep the barn cool in warmer weather.
The lounge area is furnished with a large sofa and is equipped with a TV and for entertainment. Passing the dining area featuring a table and chairs perfect for any occasion the modern kitchen is fitted out with a hob oven microwave dishwasher washer/dryer and fridge/freezer. There is one king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room and WC.
Outside the property a garden is provided for guests to use enjoying great views out over the surrounding countryside. There is also a patio garden furniture seating and a BBQ; ideal for lazy summer evenings out in the open. Parking is available for two cars next to the barn.
