The property is surrounded by a forest which is a haven for wildlife with beautiful walks direct from the cottage.

For keen anglers there are nearby lakes offer trout and coarse fishing. The nearby village of Chudleigh Knighton has a friendly pub while there are a good selection of shops and cafes in Chudleigh and Bovey Tracey. Other attractions include a variety of National Trust properties Canonteign Falls and the delightful seaside towns of Torbay Dartmouth and Salcombe.

This cosy lodge offers well throughout accommodation for a comfortable stay. Set on one level the lounge/kitchen/diner has been designed in an open-plan lay out to make the most of the small but cosy space on offer. The kitchen has an electric oven microwave and fridge/freezer.

The lounge which is featured just off from the kitchen area offers a comfortable sofa and chair which you can sink into after a day of exploring the area. During cooler months there is a flame effect gas fire to keep you warm. The bedrooms are made up of one double and one single making this the idea property for couples or a small family.

There is also a shower room with shower and WC. Outside the garden area stretches from the front around to the side of the property where there is shared garden furniture and a built in BBQ for dining alfresco. That s not all though there is a utility barn with washing machine and tumble dryers and a games barn featuring table tennis and a dartboard both of which are shared with the other two properties on site.

If you re bringing dogs with you you ll be able to exercise them off the lead in a dedicated paddock.
