The property is approached via a long private driveway and is perfect for those requiring peace and tranquillity. There are no street lights so you can watch the stars. The only sounds are countryside sounds as you watch another lovely sunset from the raised balcony.
Wildlife is encouraged and you can see and listen for foxes buzzards owls and deer. There are some wonderful walks direct from the property and surrounding areas perfect for taking dogs. You will be ideally placed for touring both Cornwall and Devon with a host of attractions to suit all tastes which include Bodmin Moor The Eden Project Plymouth with its National Marine Aquarium and The Barbican St Mellion Launceston and Trethorne Golf Courses and several National Trust properties.
If industrial heritage is of interest Dingles Steam Village Launceston Steam Railway and the Finch Foundry provide some interesting days out during your cottage holiday. Laid out over a single storey the accommodation has been decorated and furnished to a high standard and contains a double bedroom shower room with WC and open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Many original features of the barn such as the wooden ceiling beams can still be seen throughout.
The double bedroom is cosy and inviting and also features a TV and DVD. Most of your time indoors will be spent within the open-plan living space which is perfect for having a night in. A Smart TV with Netflix provide the entertainment in the lounge with the multi-fuel burner helping to make those cold nights warmer.
Coal and logs are included so that you can really make the most of the fuel burner during your stay. For some spectacular views step out from the lounge through the patio doors to a raised balcony with seating the perfect spot to watch the sun go down. In the kitchen you will find everything you need to prepare some simple meals an oven hob fridge and microwave while there is also a utility shed with a fridge/freezer and a washing machine.
Please note that while babes in arms are welcome we regret that the property is unsuitable for older children. There is space for a travel cot in the main living area outside the bedroom door. Outside of the property there is an enclosed garden where any dogs you bring along can roam freely.
The seating provided means you can also relax and look out onto the glorious surrounding views. Ample parking is provided
