Perfect
I echo all the positive comments from the previous reviews. Stayed here for a week with my 82 year old mother and the bungalow was just perfect, very clean with everything we needed and the added bonus of chocolates and biscuits to welcome us.
The owners met us and helped us with our bags after a long drive, showed us round the cottage and informed us where the local shops were.
The bungalow is set on the cliff with the beach a short walk away and we spent many hours watching the wildlife (rabbits, duck, Canada Geese and a kestrel) and the ships coming from and going into Lowestoft harbour. It's also a brilliant place for stargazing with no light pollution, the night sky was absolutely breathtaking. The cottage is aptly named and worth getting up early to watch the sunrise!
The location is perfect for exploring Suffolk and Norfolk and we will definitely come again.
Thank you for a lovely restful and peaceful week.

Home away from home
We stayed at Sunrise cottage Kessingland Suffolk from 4th to 11th of March to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were met by the very friendly owners with the key, and helped with our cases into the property. It was spotless, well stocked, warm and cosy and has beautiful views of the dunes and sea. We normally go away to cottages at this time of year, and this was definitely one of our better choices.
We will undoubtedly be returning in the near future.

Just wonderful!
You really couldn't ask for more. Excellent bungalow, gorgeous views of the sea and great access to the beach. The bungalow was all we needed: extremely clean and very well equipped with everything you could possibly need (as well as, toys beach gear and a kite!). The thoughtfulness is very impressive and kind.
Kessingland beach is just around the corner (private access is possible but the gate wasn't open), but another path is just around the corner. Took us 10/15 minutes to walk to the sea (at a 3 year old pace).
We also visited SeaLife in Great Yarmouth, Africa Alive (simply brilliant) and Dinosaur Adventure in Norwich (my 3 year olds heaven!). We brought tickets online as they are cheaper than buying them on the day.
Thank you for such a wonderful holiday - I will really miss the sea view.
