Cyclists and ramblers should head for the traffic free Tarka Trail where stunning views and wildlife watching can be enjoyed while the rugged beauty of Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks attracts visitors from far and wide. Other nearby attractions include Tapeley Park RHS Rosemoor and Lundy Island. Inside the spacious accommodation has been finished to a high standard to offer a stylish and comfortable stay for any occasion.

With high ceilings and extensive windows throughout the interior also features wooden flooring exposed brickwork beautiful balconies and modern bathrooms. The kitchen is bright and airy and contains two double range ovens an American-style fridge/freezer separate fridge/freezer two dishwashers two microwaves and an island with stools for sociable cooking while a separate utility room houses the washing machine and tumble dryer. All 24 guests can enjoy meals together in the grand dining room while overlooking the river below before heading for one of the two lounges available.

Both enjoying river views the first lounge is perfect for children as it includes a SKY TV/DVD (including SKY Sports) Xbox and Wii games consoles while the second lounge has a TV/DVD and river views. The five ground floor bedrooms all benefit from direct access to the garden as well as their own TV/DVD. One king-size bedroom has river views and an en-suite shower room with WC while a further king-size bedroom shares an adjoining bathroom with a separate shower and WC with a twin room enjoying river views.

Also on this floor a king-size and twin bedroom share a shower room with WC and enjoy access to the garden patio. There is also a separate WC located on the ground floor. On the first floor there are two king-size bedrooms each with river views and en-suite shower rooms and WCs together with two further king-size bedrooms a bathroom (featuring a separate shower and WC) and shower room with WC.

On the second floor one super king-size bedroom benefits from an en-suite bathroom with separate shower cubicle and WC as well as a luxurious balcony offering wonderful river views. Adjoining this room is a twin bedroom making a superb family suite. Outside enjoy long summer BBQs at the garden furniture on the patio or take to the impressive BBQ lodge if the weather turns.

At the end of a busy day a soak in the hot tub is the perfect way to unwind while the enclosed south facing garden with large flat lawn below is ideal for games and activities. On a rainy day fun and games can still be had in the separate games room which features a pool table and table tennis. Ample parking is available.
