Holly Hoose is a detached, stone fisherman's cottage in the village of Findochty, less than three miles from Buckie in Scotland. The cottage has two double rooms, one of which has a king-size double bed, a single room and a family bathroom. On the ground floor, there is a kitchen with a dining area, a separate formal dining room and two sitting rooms, one of which has a cosy open fire.
There is roadside parking outside the property and to the rear, a large private patio with furniture. Holly Hoose is a great base for friends and families to stay while exploring the north east coast of Scotland.

Not as advertised
We have just returned from a week's stay on this property. Firstly there is no open fire just two electric fires which have basically dumped into position with all the wires showing. The house although clean and comfortable needs a complete upgrade, it's like walking into a time warp and back to the 70s, stairs are dangerous for those who are not confident going up and down and for this I wouldn't recommend to elderly or those not with restricted movement. The outside area is crying out for maintenance and the garden area hasn't seen any work done in it for a while.
