Cosy Cottage
We booked last minute and were very pleased with the little gem we had found. It was cosy, quirky and welcoming, as were the owners. The basket of goodies was a lovely thought appreciated by all of us including the dogs as there was something in there for them as well. With a comfy bed and a ?living flame? fire we would recommend this cottage for a lovely break at any time of year.

Cosy for New Year break
Stayed for 5 nights over New Year. On arrival we were met by the owners, a lovely couple called Mick and Aidie. They explained how everything worked and presented us with a surprise goodie basket containing treats for both us and our dog. Also a nice touch was the tea and coffee making facilities in our bedroom. Loved the area, nice walks and a pub and local shop within a few minutes walk. Spent two evenings including New Year's Eve in the Lord Nelson, where we and our dog were made very welcome by the friendly land lady and locals. C?ught a bus from the village to Halifax where the newly renovated Piece Hall is well worth a visit. Here you'll find specialist little shops to browse around. Within its walls we also found a little gem, G's Cakes, a cosy cafe serving cakes to die for and the owner made our little dog welcome, we would definitely recommend this for a coffee stop. Summing up we had a great break and would certainly recommend the Cottage in the Sky and hope to return in the not too distant future.
