Not good
Enclosed garden which isn't big gaps in fence which just needed some more rails. Dog in next cottage crapped on our lawn each morning. Plus not allowed to let dogs out unattended BUT only way to get air into barn is via opening doors or tiny kitchen window. I suppose we had to sit there holding dogs!
Ceiling fan on day and night to move air around. Creak creak then creak creak.
Place is too big. It echoes you can't hear tv as it bounces noise around. It's also up on a four foot high bookcase some distance from sofas.
Not comfortable nor cosy. Very good that owners leave phone numbers BUT there's no signal so that's useful . Plus they never seem to answer door consequently we had no heating as they worked the controls. We're asthmatic and avoid log burners.
Overall this place was style over substance. We left after a few days it just wasn't a happy place. Hated the poor hens locked in a stable all the time. We were glad to get home to our free range poultry. Please someone tell the owners that Kune Kune pigs are not a rare breed.

A beautiful location and a beautifully appointed cottage, presented very well with nice personal touches. The owners were very helpful and welcoming.

The cottage is very isolated, away from villages and towns which is a perfect getaway. It was well-equipped and very light and airy. It gets all the afternoon and evening sun, with a full view of the sunset over the moors. The owners were really welcoming and friendly. There is a fab paddock to run the dog around before heading out for the day or in case you want to stay close by and just need some space for them. All in all: perfect, we wouldn't change a thing!

I will definitely be going to this cottage again. The position of the farm meant that although you were close to Tavistock, you were in a beautifully peaceful and rural setting. The accommodation would take some beating and was finished to a very high standard. Well done to all.

Pretty location. Loved the animals. Spacious, modern, beautiful property. Brilliant log burner. Comfy beds. Great bathroom. Lovely and clean, especially as out in the countryside. Nice linen and towels. Really good value for money.
