The Turnip Barn is a converted barn in the village of Witton Gilbert in County Durham. It provides you with three en-suite bedrooms including two king-size bedrooms and one twin room, there is also a cloakroom, all together the cottage can sleep six people. Inside it also includes a kitchen/diner and a sitting room with a woodburning stove.
To the outside there is plenty of off road parking and an enclosed rear lawn garden with furniture. The Turnip Barn is a beautiful cottage, its traditional features give it a homely feel.

Beautiful Place
As we where bringing our sons and there girlfriends with us from Canada we needed a place with space , bedrooms with en suites well stocked kitchen etc ..
This beautiful barn conversion ticked all the boxes and more .
Will be recommending it to all out friends in Canada if they ever visit the North East of England

Excellent
The barn has been renovated to the highest standard. Everything you could possible need is there and it is very well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. It was immaculately clean on arrival. There are two pubs within a 10 minute walk and lovely countryside walks. We would definitely return in the future!
