Devon Self Catering cottage, Fairwater Mill Cottage, Newton Abbot, sleeps 6

In need of a deep cleaning.
Cottage situated close to all amenities and close to Brixham,Torquay etc . Parking at the property not the best . Property in need of a good clean ,even the cutlery was dirty. Paint stored in one of the kitchen cupboard's and one of the beds was on near collapse . Boiler was in need of a service. Not one of the best kept properties.

Lovely stay
Excellent location for access to Dawlish,Paignton,Teignmouth, Dartmouth and soooooo much more, you will not have an issue with trying to fill your days. The cottage is a bit on the small side for the numbers they advertise for, although there are 6 beds the living room only seats 5 and the "dining table" is more of a breakfast bar and only squeezes 4 at a very tight push! Frustratingly the master bedroom is huge and would quite easily fit a 3 piece suite and a dining table so would make sense to swap it with the living room to make it a more sociable event for their guests. There is also only 1 parking space available unless you prearrange with neighbours and pay an extra fee to use their space. The house in general is clean and decor is lovely and kitchen is well equipped.

Cottage lovely everything you needed v clean small patio easy to get to teingmouth Paddington Torquay. Only gripe was parking bit, of a nightmare my advise is have a small car but enjoyed stay thank you

Fairwater mill cottage
Location of this property was ok for travelling for place to place. Not far to Paignton which is lovely.The cottage its self was very nice but as soon as you enter through the door into the kitchen,the smell of damp and fusty aroma hit you. Woke up every morning with a cough and sore throat so decided to come home 2 days early. Only a very small front garden to sit out on and overlooking a grave yard. Parking is bad. Had to ask a neighbour if they could move their van as it blocked us in and he wasn't very pleased.Overall not a pleasant stay.
