Beautiful barn, excellent hosts, great location!
We stayed with our children aged 13,9 and 7 years for a week in August.
The barn looks exactly as it does in the pictures and is a beautiful conversion recently renovated.
The barn has everything you need for a lovely stay in Derbyshire.
The prosecco and fresh eggs on arrival were a lovely touch.
Rob, the host and owner, is very welcoming and showed the kids the animals on arrival- they loved feeding the alpacas in the field opposite.
Rob even took our washing off the line twice when it began to rain and we were out on day trips!
The location is excellent with lots for kids to do nearby. We visited Alton towers, gullivers kingdom, carsington waters, chatsworth house, parsley hay bike hire for the tissington trail, and the heights of abraham.
I would highly recommend staying in walnut barn . I would love to say we will be back but we are off on new adventures in Australia .
