Overall a lovely apartment
Overall the apartment is lovely with stunning views. It was lovely to wake up to these views each morning and see them from the balcony. The building is an old hotel converted into apartment. The apartment is close to the town and is in a great position to access the SW Coast path. There was just one thing that let it down for us. When we arrived there was a note advising that we needed to let the carpenter in on the Monday. They came in to fix the kitchen window that had been leaking. We didn?t know what time they were arriving so made sure we were up really early. It took them most of the day to do what they needed to do so we felt we lost use of the apartment for the day. They use fibre glass sheeting as part of the fix which didn?t create a great atmosphere in the kitchen for my husband that suffers from asthma. We did enjoy our holiday here but it would have been nice to not have had this negative aspect.

Top Class Apartment
We stayed between Christmas and new year. Apartment is part of a development of a former Hotel. Conversion has been done extremely well. Very comfortable and well equipped, could easily fall in love with the place. Great views from the apartment, beautiful view to wake up to. Lynton it's self, despite being off season, was busy and plenty of places to eat both there or down the hill in Lynmouth. There is also two handy mini supermarkets. Planning to return. Great location for winter walks to blow away the cobwebs, will definately go back.
