Beautiful cottage, photos don't do it justice
I stayed here in August 2017. The cottage is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful and quiet.. If you want a quiet relaxing place then this is certainly the place to go

Beautiful Cottage exactly as described
We stayed here for 4 nights for a short getaway in February, a couple with one dog. The cottage was everything it was described as by the owners, and more. There was so much space, and thanks to the lovely underfloor heating all the rooms were warm all the time. On arrival the cottage was clean and warm and there was a welcoming cake for us on the table. The location is excellent for visiting nearby Dartmoor and many local attractions, but we mainly stayed in the cottage and walked locally. There is a large garden and a larger orchard with the river Mardle running through it, so plenty of room to exercise the dog. There is a friendly pub in nearby Holme, and the owners left lots of information about their favourite local establishments. We had not heard of Helpful Holidays before but found them to be very efficient and helpful, and would definitely use them again as they have a wide selection of cottages in this area.
