St Peter's is one of the least altered examples of Decorated Gothic architecture in England. Most of the church was built within a few years, around 1330. It boasts superb 14th-century windows, 15th-century carved bench ends, and the oldest complete set of bells by one maker in the country, dated to between 1330-1350.

A lovely Palladian church beside Gunton Hall. St Andrews at Gunton is Palladian master Robert Adam's only surviving building in Norfolk and the only complete church by Adam in the UK. The exterior is classical, the simple interior is ornamented with lovely plasterwork and woodcarving. Gunton church is a little 18th-century gem.
