The Story Behind the Image - Glen Torridon Autumn Morning
Glen Torridon is one of the most scenic areas in Britain. The glen runs .roughlynorth-east to south-west between Kinlochewe and Loch Torridon, with the Beinn Eighe Nature Reserve on the north side of the glen.
At the south-western end of the glen rises Liathach, a popular challenge for walkers. On this occasion, I was staying in a holiday cottage near Torridon village for a week
I got up before dawn [photographers are funny that way] and drove to the middle of the glen. I scrambled along the hillside, photographing as the sun rose over the horizon. I captured this lovely view looking towards Liathach and Loch Torridon.
