The London Encyclopaedia is the most comprehensive book on London ever published. This is the 3rd edition, the first update to the Encyclopaedia in over 10 years. The Encyclopaedia has been completely revised and updated, with approximately 5000 cross-referenced and indexed articles.

There are two indexes, one for the over 10,000 people mentioned in the text, and another, general index. The text is copiously illustrated, with over 500 drawings, photos, and maps. This amazing book covers every aspect of London's history from the arrival of the first settlers on the banks of the Thames, up to the present day.
