Mill Stream Cottage is a beautiful 19th century Cotswold stone cottage resting in Lower Slaughter, Gloucestershire.

Mill Stream Cottage is a stunning 19th century, Cotswold stone property, resting in the famous chocolate-box village of Lower Slaughter, just over two miles from Bourton-on-the-Water, Gloucestershire. The three-bedroom property sleeps up to six guests and is home to beautiful traditional features which are complimented by thoughtful contemporary decor. Arriving at the cottage, you are greeted by sought-after off-road parking with room for up to two small cars, before stepping through the front door into the handy entrance hall which provides space for your coats and shoes, moving through the property the warm and inviting dual aspect living room greets you and provides the perfect space for you and your loved ones to curl up in front of the TV, get the open fire crackling away and relax after your long journey.

The open-plan kitchen/diner is the ideal place for socialising with your group and cooking up a home cooked meal in the well-equipped kitchen before gathering round the table to enjoy your delicious meal whilst planning your trip itinerary. A quirky glass walkway leads from the kitchen/diner, into the stylish dual aspect king-size master bedroom, which has a pretty bay window, exposed Cotswold stone walls and lovely French doors leading out to the courtyard; the en-suite shower room is colourful and welcoming. Completing the ground floor is a handy utility room tucked away off the kitchen and a convenient cloakroom.

Two further bedrooms are found up the stairs, on the second floor; the first hosts a king-size bed and has lovely stone mullion dual aspect windows with an en-suite bathroom, and the second, located in the eaves, houses a single bed, additional pull-out bed (available on request) and a light, airy en-suite shower room. Outside, the attractive gravel courtyard garden has an outdoor table with parasol and a charcoal barbecue, making it a lovely spot to enjoy your meals al fresco when the weather allows.

Beautiful cottage, with real charm and modern conveniences. Traditional character and furnished with high end designer pieces. Just a lovely mix. Located 50yd to the river, near the Mill and lovely surrounding walks nearby. Loved that all bedrooms had an en-suite (no sharing needed). Owners go to great lengths to ensure our stay was perfect. Can?t wait to return.
