Nice house but but wifi & TV are useless
The house itself is nice and it's clean, no faults there at all but it has a few annoying easily fixed things like nowhere to put your shampoo etc in the shower other than a cheap plastic caddy hung up high on top of the glass screen so you end up putting it on the floor, Why? The bathroom door has hooks hung up the top, over 6 ft up so most people can't even reach, Why? self adhesive hooks are available everywhere. Dining table has clunky great heavy chairs that don't fit under the table side by side so you have six chairs with no room to move. Now our real annoyance! We stayed here during the week of the Queens funeral. The TV has no Freeview, just NowTV & Netflix which are provided down a phoneline with a feeble connection. The only way to watch the news is on SKY, no BBC ,ITV etc. A note by the TV tells you you can watch BBC & ITV on catch up, Really? you want to watch the latest BBC news from yesterday?? On the morning of the funeral, a once in a lifetime event the like of which the modern world has never seen, we turn on the TV and all seems OK for 10 minutes then a message pops up "connection lost" 15 minutes later it comes back on for a few more minutes and then drops off again. this went on all through the entire funeral. Added to that one of us is deaf and there were no subtitles available on anything other than Netflix. A note by the TV tells you you can watch BBC & ITV on catch up, Really? you want to watch the latest BBC news from yesterday?? So we have to ask why is there an aerial on the roof and a TV aerial socket hidden in the corner of the room behind a dresser and the TV at the opposite end? Why is the room furnished back to front so you have to steer round the furniture carrying plates of food to the table which should be down by the kitchen door?
