Ebeneezer Scrooge's Holiday Cottage
On arrival at The Bothy Lytham we were greeted with the horrendous smell of drains which lasted now and then all week long.
It was also extremely cold as no heating was turned on. Then shock set in as it looked nothing like Christmas no decorations in sight not even a small Christmas Tree simply nothing. I contacted Mr Alex Cotterill owner of the property and his explanation was that he expected people to bring a Christmas Tree and decorate the cottage themselves. At this point I told him that I had booked holiday homes every Christmas for the past eight (8) years and all had been decorated for Christmas and his property was the first to look nothing like Christmas. Most un-festive indeed. I got no reply. Anyway Ebenezzer Scrooge is alive and kicking with people like this around.
