Perfect Autumn Break
We had a perfect autumn stay in this very secluded and quiet cottage
We had a great mixture of chilling at the cottage - lots of hot-tubbing, walking along the tracks straight from the front door - had a perfect misty autumn sunrise, lovely rainbow in the valley and enjoyed a circular walk over the bridge, up to the road, along the road to the entrance of the lane leading to the cottage and then enjoyed the walk (rather than drive) along the lane - it is a very long but beautiful single track lane
Also ventured further afield, Lakes distillery, Ravenglass steam train trip, motor boats on Coniston, fish and chips on harbour at Whitehaven. Enjoyed local food, simply the best pies ever at Yewdale Inn, Coniston and delicious seafood meal at Hooked, Windermere
We had the log burner on but a shame it was so mild for end October - never got to wear our jumpers!

Amazing. Perfect holiday home in amazing location. This is a beautiful barn conversion on a small farm within a stunning, secluded valley. We loved every minute and didn't want to leave.

Beautiful cottage in idyllic surroundings
A perfect cottage in the heart of the Lake District. Everything you could possibly want under one roof. The owners had thought of everything. A lovely hot tub with a view for relaxing in after a long day walking/cycling. Would highly recommend for anyone wishing to escape to the Lake District. We will be returning!

Idilyc spot
Had a great time here - the cottage was comfortable and homely. It was very secluded - 2 miles up a single track road. The views were amazing and we went for some lovely walks. We were lucky with the weather - it was warm and sunny. The hot tub was a bonus - just what you need after a day walking. A big plus for us was that there was no service available on the mobiles - peace and quiet at last! Would def go again :)

The cottage was lovely and can not complain about anything! The owners were there if needed but just left us to our own devices after they introduced themselves, which was good. The location was beautiful although was a long walk to the main road and the local, ideal for anyone wanting peace and quiet. No complaints at all!
