Well, its a cliche (but, then, a lot of images of London sights have become a bit cliched!), but I couldn't resist taking this photo of the statue of Sir Winston Churchill with the Houses of Parliament in the background. It wasn't easy to take the photo, as Parliament Square, where Winnie stands in brooding contemplation, had been taken over by a vociferous political demonstration, and I didn't fancy getting caught up in the hoopla.
