Fantastic 3 Night Stay at Ghyll Bank Barn
Having got our food supplies from Morrisons at in Kendal, we arrived at the barn. We had booked the Brye which sleeps 7 and we got more than expected (the photos on the web do not do the accommodation justice). On the ground floor a spacious entrance, kitchen (all amenities) and lounge with one double bedroom with on-suite(shower). The first floor has two further bedrooms on twin plus on-suite (shower) and one family room, double and a single bed plus on-suite (bath/shower). The barn is located less than 2 mile from Staveley and is about 30 mins from Wndermere, 20 mins from Kendal. As a family we found it a great base for walking and travelling around the area. A great find and we will be back

This is a lovely terraced barn conversion in an excellent location. The view was really good and the outside space was perfect. We loved it and would recommend and we would return.

A beautifully presented property inside and outside. The scenery and views are stunning and very relaxing. The property is stunning and the location is an excellent base to visit all areas of the Lake District. It's approximately less than 2 miles and a thirty minute walk to the village of Staveley. I would definitely visit again.

The barn conversion was completed to an exceptionally high standard, the decor was tasteful and we absolutely loved the kitchen. It is well situated between Kendal and Windermere and the lovely friendly owners popped in to make sure we were comfortable. Highly recommend.

It couldn't have been any better. The property was beautiful with top quality fixtures and fittings and really felt homely. The location is superb and the owners were lovely too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will be rebooking this property again.
