COVID-19
Put a deposit down on this apartment in June 2020, but due to Covid-19 and in tear 3 unable to go now (4nites new year ) plus owner wanted us to vacate by 9 o?clock witch broke there agreement with us. TRYED to get are deposit back but would NOT, on a refund. SO IF YOU ARE THINKING OF BOOKING THIS APARTMENT, THINK VERY VERY HARD BECAUSE YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR DEPOSIT BACK.

Lovely apartment in fantastic location
This apartment is lovely, modern and clean. It is literally a 2 minute walk to Keswick main street and the rental office to collect/drop off keys. We only used one of the bedrooms, and later discovered the second bedroom had an en suite but the main bathroom was larger so we just used that anyway. Only minor changes I would make would be to have a bigger TV in the living room, TV's in the bedrooms, blackout curtains and bigger beds. If you are staying at a busy period try to get there early as parking is on street and is first come first served, ditch the car and go explore before you pick your keys up at 3. Despite this I would very happily stay again.

Excellent 2 Bed apartment in Keswick
The 2 bed apartment was as described and presented very well. The apartment is light, well furnished and has 2 good bathrooms. Arriving late we collected the key using a code from a box at the rental agencies office. Only a few minutes walk from the shops, market, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Quiet location and good heating though it was timed and at times we needed heating but had no control over it. I would highly recommend the apartment and found it very well priced compared with other apartments or B& B's. The apartment is second storey and there are 2 flights of steps to get to the front door. No towels are provided (but all all linen is). No wifi and I think it would be a good idea to organise it as many people need it to keep their life organized! Parking is an issue as it is on-street and it can be difficult in busy times to get a park near to the apartment. If I came to Keswick again I would certainly stay in this apartment.

The best value for money I've yet seen - but why no WiFi?
I booked to stay in Helvellyn with my girlfriend for a long break over my birthday weekend. The thing that immediately drew us in was the cheap price which seemed fantastic given the quality of the living space shown in the pictures.
As with all images on the internet I approached Helvellyn's appearance with scepticism - it is all too easy to make an accommodation look far bigger and more modern than it actually is. I am happy to report that this is absolutely not the case here and if anything the apartment looks smaller than it actually is in real life.
The place is large, perfectly situated in a quiet corner of the town centre and rigged out with modern appliances and furniture. It was spotlessly clean and surrounded by beautiful fells which can easily be seen from the windows given its position on the top floor of a building. There is plenty of light so the place never feels dingy or claustrophobic.
Both bedrooms are wonderful, with one being slightly smaller to accommodate an en suite shower and toilet. The open plan kitchen and living room is a nice size and there is enough seating for you and visitors, unless you're having a conference in your holiday cottage. The bathrooms were modern, clean and well functioning - I tend to be picky about showers in particular but the main shower was fantastic (though I didn't use the en suite one).
The only downside is the owners' strange reluctance to provide a WiFi service. If, like me, you're with O2 your phone simply will not pick up any internet signal whatsoever in Keswick and organisational tasks thus forced me out into the town in search of free WiFi. The lack of WiFi has been mentioned countless times by users on Trip Advisor and in the guest book in the place itself over the course of a number of years, yet still has not been rectified. As a smaller inconvenience, there is no hairdryer provided in the apartment, which is something I consider to be fairly standard.
While I visited in October when it was fairly cool, we found that only one of the windows in the apartment would open to any sort of useful degree. This is presumably a health and safety feature but it is worth mentioning for people who may be planning a visit in the hotter months.
The final issue is that driving and parking around these roads is very tight and worth keeping mind of if you plan on driving to Helvellyn.
Luckily, I did not find myself needing the internet very much, the weather was cool and I did not drive and as such these issues did not hinder my enjoyment experienced at Helvellyn. I would absolutely go back in a flash... providing I didn't need parking, a hairdryer, cool air or the internet.

Bright & breezy - perfect for a hot July
This flat is a lovely space. We spent nights with the sash windows wide open. The dual aspect of the flat meant it was easy to get a through breeze. My partner had previously stayed here with a friend on a walking weekend and we'd recommend this to anyone - especially friends or two couples. The only things missing were wifi and a second set of keys.
